Officials at Cheltenham say they don't plan to water the track before next week's Festival after heavy rain hit the track.

Eleven millimetres fell last night easing the ground to Good to Soft and Soft in Places on the New Course.

Twenty-four horses remain on course for the first days feature, the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle, among them all the leading Irish hopes headed by former Champions Sublimity and Brave inca.
