United front for Wadham
United is in sparkling form ahead of her challenge in the David Nicholson Mares’ Hurdle at Cheltenham.
Lucy Wadham’s classy campaigner is just behind favourite Whiteoak in the betting for that event and was fourth to Inglis Drever in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle last March.
A winner of a decent contest at Ascot last month as well as a handicap hurdle at Haydock, Wadham decided to give the totesport.com National Spirit Hurdle at Fontwell this Sunday a miss.
“She is going for the mares' race and is in great form,” said Newmarket-based Wadham.
“She worked really well this morning and I am very happy with her. I haven’t got many others for Cheltenham, maybe one in the Supreme but that’s it.”
