Chepstow look again

Today’s meeting at Chepstow must now pass a 10am inspection.

Frost is the major sticking point at the Monmouthshire venue, from where clerk of the course Tim Long initially staged an inconclusive assessment at 8.30am.

Long said: “We got to minus-two degrees overnight but it had looked quite promising first thing.

“Since then, however, we’ve clouded over slightly and are still not above freezing.”
