Kempton forced to inspect

This evening’s Flat meeting at Kempton must pass a 10am inspection.

Officials at the Sunbury track made the call because of frozen snow on the track.

Clerk of the course Brian Clifford said: “I don’t really anticipate any problems, but we do need a window of time to break these pieces of frozen snow down.

“We got to minus-two degrees overnight so I thought it prudent to look.”
