Southwell beaten by snow

Officials at Southwell have been forced to abandon this afternoon’s National Hunt meeting due to snow on the track.

The Nottinghamshire venue has been hit by a substantial amount of snow over the past 24 hours and with temperatures still hovering around freezing, acting clerk of the course Fergus Cameron has been left with little option but to call off proceedings.
