Uttoxeter passes inspection

This afternoon’s meeting at Uttoxeter has survived an 8am inspection.

After inspecting on Friday a second check was called and thankfully the course enjoyed a dry night.

“It’s good news, we’re on,” said clerk of the course Keith Ottesen.

“It’s heavy, it will be very testing, but the ground didn’t deteriorate any further.

“We have a surface frost but nothing to worry about, it didn’t get into the ground.

“We had no rain at all overnight.”
