Donald McCain admitted he expected nothing less than a win for Fiendish Flame after he ran away with the second division of the Touchline Event Management “National Hunt” Novices´ Hurdle at Sedgefield.

The five-year-old had finished fifth in a Cheltenham bumper on his debut before chasing home stablemate Son Of Flicka on his hurdling debut at Bangor.
