Silver Birch set to return

Silver Birch, winner of the 2007 Grand National, could be back in action over the next fortnight after recovering from a leg injury.

Trainer Gordon Elliott is mulling a trip to the Carlow Farmers point-to-point meeting at Donore on January 25 for his 12-year-old, who has been off the track since his Aintree triumph.
