Sandown off

This afternoon’s meeting at Sandown has had to be abandoned after a second morning inspection as temperatures have failed to rise sufficiently.

Officials had covered the entire track to guard against the threat of frost but temperatures were as low as minus six at the time of the first inspection at 8am.
