Haydock meet abandoned

Tomorrow's meeting at Haydock has been abandoned because the course is frozen.

Officials made the decision following a 3pm inspection which had been brought forward from 8am on Tuesday due to a frost on Sunday night.

"There's frost under the sheets now and as we are going to get another frost tonight, it would be a waste of everyone's time to carry on," said clerk of the course Kirkland Tellwright.
