Waterlogged Lingfield abandoned

This afternoon’s meeting at Lingfield has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.

Course officials had planned to hold an inspection at 8am due to the threat of overnight rain but clerk of the course Neil MacKenzie Ross has been forced to draw stumps even earlier with the situation deemed untenable.
