Precautionary inspection for Sedgefield

Officials at Sedgefield have called a precautionary inspection for 8.30am ahead of Tuesday’s meeting.

Clerk of the course Charlie Moore reports the track to be perfectly raceable but a cold night is forecast at the Co Durham venue.

He said: “The snow and frost have gone and we are raceable today but as the warm air and light rain passes through later, it is due to clear up.

“We are forecast a clear night and temperatures could drop to between zero and minus two so we thought it best to look.”
