Meade mulls Aran plan
Plans have yet to be drawn up for Aran Concerto following trainer Noel Meade’s decision to skip the Bar One Racing Drinmore Novice Chase at Fairyhouse last Sunday.
The seven-year-old remains a top-rank prospect over fences, winning on his chase debut at Navan last month in what was his first start since finishing fifth in the 2007 Ballymore Properties Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham.
“We just weren’t happy enough with Aran to let him run last weekend, and we’re just going slowly at the moment,” explained Meade.
