Nicky Henderson is hopeful Aigle D’Or can make his presence felt on his return to competitive action in the Grade Three Greatwood Hurdle on the final day of Cheltenham’s Open meeting tomorrow.

The five-year-old was a bitter disappointment when sent off favourite for the Ballymore Properties Novices’ Hurdle at the Festival when last seen in March, but is reported to have thrived over the summer.
