Godolphin pair aim for further success
Godolphin’s American Grade One winners Cocoa Beach and Music Note are to stay in training in 2009.
The pair finished second and third respectively behind the unbeaten Zenyatta in the Grade One Breeders’ Cup Ladies Classic at Santa Anita last month.
“No specific race plans have been finalised for either filly, but at the moment we are planning to keep them in training next year,” racing manager Simon Crisford told www.godolphin.com, the website of the Maktoum family's private racing stable.
The three-year-old Music Note has won three times at the highest level, all at Belmont Park, while the year older Cocoa Beach’s sole success in a Grade One to date also came at the New York track.
