Smart Jaff makes Timber bow

Arthur Moore expects Jaffonnien to give a good account of himself as he takes to obstacles for the first time in the ’For Auction’ Novice Hurdle at Navan on Sunday.

The five-year-old ran out an impressive winner on his bumper debut at Leopardstown in February and is thrown straight into Grade Three company for his first foray over timber.
