Renwick issues Doncaster appeal

Jockey Stacy Renwick has appealed against the 10-day suspension dished out by the Doncaster stewards following her ride on Red Wine last Friday.

The Alan McCabe-trained nine-year-old finished eighth of the 20 runners in the Betting Shop Manager of The Year Handicap, after which Renwick and McCabe told the stewards the plan was to bring the gelding with a late run.

However, the local officials still decided to ban Renwick between November 7-10, 12-15 and 17-18.

No appeal date has been set.
