Twice Over will probably stay in training as a four-year-old after running yet another fine race at the highest level.

The Observatory colt, trained by Henry Cecil, was clear second best behind the brilliant New Approach in the Emirates Airline Champion Stakes at Newmarket yesterday.

“He’s fine. There are no plans at the moment. He’s likely to stay in training next year,” said Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah.

Placed in the St James’s Palace Stakes and Dante Stakes earlier in the season, his sole success of the campaign came in a Group Two contest over a mile and a quarter at Maisons-Laffitte in July.
