Jacob to be released from hospital
Daryl Jacob is set to be released from hospital today following a nasty looking fall at Chepstow on Saturday.
The jockey was taken to Newport hospital after his mount Shannon Falls came to grief four flights from home in the William Hill On 0800 444040 Handicap Hurdle.
Although the full extent of his injuries are unclear, Jacob’s agent Chris Broad is in positive mood.
“I text Daryl this morning and he said he will speak to me later today when he comes out of hospital,” said Broad.
“They are doing some more tests and scans on him but fingers crossed, it does not appear to be too bad as someone has obviously given him the inclination that he is likely to be out of hospital today.”
