Ayr passes morning check

This afternoon’s meeting at Ayr goes ahead after the track passed an early morning inspection.

Clerk of the course Katherine Self called a 7am check due to the threat of rain on ground which was already saturated.

However, with just half a millimetre of rain overnight, the meeting was given the go-ahead and the ground will be heavy.
