O'Brien horse third in Cologne

Aidan O’Brien’s King Of Rome finished third in the IVG Preis von Europa at Cologne.

The Ballydoyle team sent out three runners to compete in the Group One affair but Colm O’Donoghue’s mount fared best of all.

Hindu Kush and Bashkirov were unplaced.

The mile-and-a-half contest was won by Baila Me, with Poseidon Adventure a close second.
