Warwick inspect on Tuesday

Warwick officials will stage an 8am inspection on Tuesday morning ahead of Wednesday’s meeting.

The track is currently heavy, waterlogged in places, and more rain is forecast.

Clerk of the course Fiona Needham said: “We have had a dry night, which has helped, and things have improved a little.

“It should improve during the day, but we are forecast between 2mm to 4mm of rain on Tuesday.

“The track has taken the rain better than I thought, but we have had a lot of water. We really need a huge amount of luck.”
