Getaway confirmed for Arc tilt

Andre Fabre will prepare Getaway for his next start in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe on October 5 after the five-year-old returned to winning ways at Deauville on Sunday.

The master French trainer has won his country’s biggest race seven times – the latest in 2006 with Rail Link – with Getaway having been cut to as short as 10-1 by bookmakers after the Group Two Grand Prix de Deauville.
