Michael Stoute confirmed Patkai to be still in the reckoning for the Ladbrokes St Leger.

The Queen’s Vase winner had been long-time ante-post favourite for the final Flat Classic of the term, but struggled in the rearranged Great Voltigeur Stakes at Goodwood.
