Novice's chase added to Grand National card

Aintree have announced the addition of a new two-and-a-half mile novices' chase at the 2009 John Smith's Grand National meeting.

The new race, which will be known as the John Smith's Manifesto Novices' Chase, will have Grade Two status and a total prize fund of £80,000 (€100,835).
