Pachattack may take on Curragh test
Impressive Goodwood winner Pachattack has been pencilled in for the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh on August 31.
Gerard Butler has always thought highly of the daughter of Pulpit and his faith was justified with an impressive display last Thursday.
“I’ve been very pleased with her, she’s been back cantering over the weekend and we are pointing her towards the Moyglare,” said Butler.
“Whether we decide to go there we will decide nearer the time, but that is what we are aiming towards.
“There were some well-regarded fillies in the Goodwood race – five or six of them had Group One entries – but time will tell how good a race it was.
“Her pedigree does not shout out that she needs a mile yet, but seven furlongs is a nice trip.
“She ran very well first time out and we just want to see how she is over the next few weeks before we commit her to the Moyglare.”
