Rosa glee for Haigh

Rosabee may be Deauville-bound after completing a quick hat-trick in the ladbrokes.com Nursery at Leicester.

Vicky Haigh’s progressive filly defied a 12lb penalty for last week’s wins at Pontefract and Doncaster with a smooth victory.

Striding into the lead inside the final furlong, Rosabee (11-4) powered home by three-quarters of a length from Mister Green under 3lb claimer Duran Fentiman.

“If you’ve got the tools you can get the job done,” said Haigh.

“We’ll probably go abroad, possibly for a Listed race and maybe to Deauville.

“She’s a smart filly, she was idling in front and just does enough.

“I’m glad it rained all the way here – the key to this filly is the ground.”
