John Best’s stable star put a below-par return in the King’s Stand firmly behind him when proving his stamina for six furlongs last time and will now seek victory in another showcase Group One sprint.

Sir Gerry and Fat Boy finished third and 11th respectively in the Golden Jubilee and complete the three-year-old challenge.

New Zealand raider Seachange, who is set to run in the UAE Hydra Properties Falmouth Stakes on Wednesday, has also been declared.

Other notable runners from the older brigade include last season’s Prix de l’Abbaye winner Benbaun, Marchand D’Or, US Ranger and the James Eustace-trained War Artist.

Assertive, Astronomer Royal, Diabolical, Off The Record, Prime Defender, Utmost Respect, Zidane and Les Arcs complete the line-up.

The latter won this event two years ago but has been restricted to just three starts since due to injury and finished last on his seasonal reappearance earlier this month.
