Worcester face marker inquiry
Officials from Worcester racecourse face a British Horseracing Authority disciplinary panel inquiry on July 3 following an incident at a meeting last month.
The BHA will look into a “H” marker being put in the wrong place for the Veker Extrusions Mares Only Handicap Hurdle on May 11.
Wayne Kavanagh, aboard Kentford Mist, and William Kennedy on Queen Boudicca pulled up their mounts at the seventh hurdle as they thought they had taken the wrong course.
The jockeys were cleared of any blame on the day.
