Steve Drowne, fresh from securing three victories at Royal Ascot last week, was back in the winner’s enclosure following victory on the veteran Little Edward at Lingfield.

He brought the 10-year-old with a perfectly-timed run on the wide outside to grab the lead in the final 50 yards.
