Impressive Oaks winner Look Here is likely to be targeted at the Darley Yorkshire Oaks on August 21 as trainer Ralph Beckett waits for some ease in the ground.

Connections have mentioned the Ladbrokes St Leger as a potential target further down the line, but Beckett could also keep his stable star at 12 furlongs and send her to France for an alternative option, depending on underfoot conditions.

Beckett said: “She’s very well and although we haven’t definitely decided on her next race, it’s looking increasingly likely to be the Yorkshire Oaks.

“The St Leger is a possible but if the ground turned out to be quick we might wait for the Prix Vermeille as it should be easier there.

“I think the ground is very important and I don’t want to run her on quick ground again at this stage of her career.

“It often comes up fast in Ireland for the Irish Oaks and when the ground comes up like that I’d have to wait another six weeks to run her.

“She’s in good shape and we’ll plan away for the autumn in all probability.”

Beckett was also cheered to see John Gosden’s Michita, only seventh in the Oaks, give the Epsom form a boost by storming to an impressive win in the Ribblesdale at Ascot on Thursday.

“It was great to see her win so well and the filly that finished last in the Oaks (Ice Queen) won a Group Three at Cork on Sunday so the form is obviously working out great,” he added.
