Mark Johnston believes he has a strong hand with Captain Webb and Age Of Reason as he attempts to improve an impressive record in the Queen’s Vase at Royal Ascot on Friday.

The Middleham trainer has won the two-mile heat four times since the turn of the century with And Beyond (2001), Shanty Star (2003), Melrose Avenue (2005) and Soapy Danger (2006).
