Redford has Ascot option

Michael Bell is considering Saturday’s Doncaster winner Redford for the Britannia Handicap at Royal Ascot next week, a race he took a year ago with Eddie Jock.

Redford only had a Newcastle maiden under his belt from his juvenile campaign but despite an unimpressive preparation he had enough ability to land a decent handicap at the weekend.
