Sub Rose blooms in Chantilly

Sub Rose maintained her unbeaten record when swooping late to claim the Prix de Royaumont on French Derby day at Chantilly.

Trained by Alain de Royer-Dupre, the Galileo filly had only had one previous race but looks to have bags of potential.

Treat Gently made a bid for home two furlongs out but Christophe Soumillon produced his mount late to win going away.

Ed Dunlop and Ryan Moore were out of luck with Mischief Making who finished unplaced.
