High Rock on target for French Derby
Trainer Jean-Claude Rouget is happy with the condition of High Rock ahead of a crack at the Prix du Jockey-Club next month.
The colt’s preparation for the French Derby at Chantilly on Sunday week is going smoothly.
“He is very well, no problems at all and he is on course for the Prix du Jockey Club,” said Rouget.
High Rock, a half-brother to Group Three winner Homeland, staked his claim for Classic honours with a six-length victory in the Prix la Force at Longchamp last month.
