Arc an option for Curlin

Connections of imperious Dubai World Cup winner Curlin are considering a crack at the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe later in the season.

Steve Asmussen’s four-year-old, the world’s top-rated racehorse, is next likely to be seen in action at Churchill Downs on June 14.

However, owner Jess Jackson is tempted to try her superstar on turf in due course, with the Arc among Curlin’s potential international options.

Jackson told Daily Racing Form: “I’d love to continue to take Curlin to new places where horses from the United States don’t normally race, like the Arc or the Japan Cup, both for his legacy as well as to plant the US flag, just as he did in Dubai.”
