All systems go for Muthabara

Muthabara has been given the all clear to run in the stanjamesuk.com 1000 Guineas at Newmarket today.

The Fred Darling winner had been the subject of an 11th-hour scare when she was found to be slightly sore after working at the trainer’s Arundel base on Friday morning.

“She’s OK and she’s on her way up to Newmarket,” said trainer John Dunlop’s racing secretary Marcus Hosgood.

Muthabara is 6-1 fourth-favourite with the sponsors for Guineas glory.
