Benbaun makes Curragh return

Benbaun is to set to begin another campaign for sprinting honours in the Greenlands Stakes at the Curragh next month.

Mark Wallace’s stable star took the Group Three prize last term for the first of three victories at the Irish track before opening his Group One account in the Prix de l’Abbaye at Longchamp in October.

“He’s in good order,” said Wallace.

“He goes for the Greenlands on May 24 at the Curragh so hopefully he’ll run well there. He’s in good form and it’s so far so good.”
