Final Grand National field to be confirmed later

The final field for Saturday's Aintree Grand National is due to be confirmed this morning, with the Irish challenge expected to amount to a quarter of the runners.

The big meeting begins later today, with the ground on the easy side of good and not expected to fluctuate much before the big race.
