Myerscough plans Curragh raid
David Myerscough hopes Sciatin can continue on the upgrade ahead of a tilt at the Ladbrokes.com Irish Lincolnshire on Sunday.
Having shown some smart form as a juvenile in Britain, the five-year-old had not reproduced that in Ireland prior to his impressive victory at Cork on Monday.
Myerscough is confident that success will have boosted his confidence and believes conditions should be ideal for him at the Curragh.
The County Kildare handler said: “He has come out of his last race really well and the ground is the key to him and as we’ve just had a nice shower, it should be fine.
“Having done well as a two-year-old, he lost his way a little bit but I’d like to think he is back to something like his best now.
“He won really well the other day, probably too well, but at least now he should get a run on Sunday and I think he definitely deserves to take his chance.”
