Knight heads Lincoln hopes
Blythe Knight remains at the head of the weights at the five-day stage for the William Hill Lincoln.
The eight-year-old, winner of the race in 2006, finished unplaced in the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham last week and would have to carry 9st 10lb at Doncaster on Saturday.
Ante-post favourite Zaahid has stood his ground, along with Sir Michael Stoute’s Lang Shining and Mick Easterby’s Atlantic Story.
John Gosden could be represented by Escape Route, while Derby-winning trainer Peter Chapple-Hyam has entered Don’t Panic.
Babodana and Very Wise, who won the Lincoln in 2004 and 2007 respectively, are also engaged.
Rio Riva, Stevie Gee, Another Bottle and Plum Pudding also appear among the 90 remaining entrants.
