Re Barolo upset the Lincoln applecart when beating two entrants for the first big turf handicap of the season at Doncaster in two weeks’ time in the feature event at Wolverhampton.

The Marco Botti-trained five-year-old, under Seb Sanders, came with a run on the wide outside to collar long-time leader Plum Pudding and score by a neck.
