Conditional jockey Wayne Burton is undergoing an operation on his back to ascertain the extent of his injuries following his terrible fall at Exeter.

Conditional jockey Wayne Burton is undergoing an operation on his back to ascertain the extent of his injuries following his terrible fall at Exeter.

The 10lb claimer was knocked unconscious for around 25 minutes when fired into the ground in a first-flight tumble from Veverka in the Weatherbys Bloodstock Insurance Handicap Hurdle.
