Conditional jockey Wayne Burton was airlifted to hospital after a terrible fall at Exeter in England.

Riding Veverka for Jimmy Fox in the Weatherbys Bloodstock Insurance Handicap Hurdle, Burton was fired into the ground with force and knocked unconscious for around 25 minutes.

The 10lb claimer regained consciousness before being airlifted to Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital as a precaution.
