Robert Winston registered his first win after serving a 12-month riding ban when partnering Bugsy's Boy at Wolverhampton today.

Winston, 28, spent a year on the sidelines after being found guilty of passing information for reward by the British Horseracing Authority.

He was out of luck on his comeback ride at Kempton on Thursday evening, but wasted no time in getting off the mark aboard Paul D'Arcy's charge.

Sent off a 7-1 chance, Bugsy's Boy responded well for Winston in the Dunstall Park straight to see off Rainbow Dash by two and a half lengths.
