Blaeberry emerged as a surprise candidate for the David Nicholson Mares’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival after registering a second success over fences at Ludlow.

The 4-7 favourite cruised clear from the third-last under Timmy Murphy in the EBF/TBA Mares’ Novices’ Chase on her first start since a winter break.
