Catterick inspect

Officials at Catterick have called a precautionary inspection for 8am ahead of tomorrow’s meeting due to the threat of snow.

The track is perfectly raceable at present but the Richmondshire venue could be hit by snow overnight.

“We’ve called a precautionary inspection for 8am,” said clerk of the course Jonjo Sanderson.

“It is just in view of what is on the way, we are due some snow.

“I’ve received two forecasts. One says it is going to snow all night long and the other says we should be fine, so I’d rather be prepared.”
