Tazbar booked for Doncaster
Keith Reveley is planning to run smart novice hurdler Tazbar on Doncaster on Saturday, but is undecided which race he will take his chance in.
The six-year-old was only beaten a neck in a Listed race on his first start over obstacles and came home 38 lengths clear of his nearest pursuer at Newcastle last time.
Reveley is favouring a tilt at the Albert Bartlett Novices´ Hurdle over three miles but may consider running his charge over the minimum trip of the Rossington Main Hurdle, if there was a deluge of rain at the Yorkshire venue.
Reveley said: “The race known as the River Don is the main target but we may run him in the other race if the ground went soft to heavy.
“But Doncaster is so well drained I would imagine the River Don will be the race and the trip will be no problem. He is a very nice horse.”
