Christmas racing comes to a close
The Christmas Festival at Punchestown comes to a close today.
The highlight is the grade one Bewleys Christmas Hurdle which is off at 1.55.
The first on a seven race card at the Foxrock course goes to post at 12.25.
There is also seven races down for decision at Limerick where the first is off at 12.40.
Yesterday at Leopardstown, Denman confirmed his status as one of the favourites for the Cheltenham Gold Cup when the Paul Nicholls-trained Ruby Walsh mount romped home in the Lexus Chase.
