Take Turpin for victory

Nicky Richards has taken the easier option of the Edward Hanmer Memorial Graduation Chase at Haydock for Turpin Green and his decision can pay dividends.

Richards had given last year’s Cheltenham Gold Cup third an entry in the Grade One Lexus Chase at Leopardstown but the prospect of taking on the likes of Denman did not really appeal.
